Kenya’s Special Economic Zones are coming of age, with an increasing number of new entrants within the last two years serving as an indicator of renewed investor confidence in the country.

Recently, Global Customer Acquisition and Engagement firm CCI announced that it will be tapping into a new contact centre at Eneo in Tatu City SEZ, to expand its local operations.

The centre has been developed by real estate firm Gateway Real Estate Africa, in collaboration with BuildHer, an organisation which equips disadvantaged women with construction skills. It will provide business process outsourcing that supports the whole customer lifecycle in both traditional voice interactions as well as digital.

The mixed-use development (Eneo), comprises 27,524 square metres of total office and retail space, with elements of sustainability to mitigate environmental risks as well as drive up demand.
